We are pleased to welcome you to the hamlet of Mas de Blais, which lies in the town of Briançon, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes region of France.

Originally this village had just one street: Rue des Beignets, with ten old terraced houses. The first of these houses at the top of the street dates from 1590 (according to its porch), and the last at the bottom of the street, from 1620.These houses are built in the style of old Briançon houses on several levels. A small part of the ground floor was reserved for the inhabitants, with the remainder serving as a stable for the animals that had to be fed during the long winter months. The other two or three levels of the house were used to store hay.

Over time these old houses have been completely renovated, albeit preserving the charm of this typical street which we invite you to discover.

At the foot of the houses there are acres of grassland which children love to play in once the first snow has fallen, but which are also lovely all year round for walkers, who can take a pleasant walk down to the Guisane, a beautiful alpine river which flows into the Durance in Briançon.

Our apartment is located in the third house of this village street, occupying the top two floors of a quiet family house which was completely renovated in 2007 , highlighting its 17thtimberwork. With a four stars rating from Atout France (France’s tourist development agency), it is one of 43 apartments belonging to the classified residential tourist village of Briançon.Large duplex, for two families, 10 persons.

A holiday here will allow you to try out mountain sports and recreational activities, both in winter and summer.

Welcome to Mas de Blais Hamlet....
